Founded by the late California Republican Howard Jarvis, The Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association (HJTA) was instrumental in sponsoring Proposition 13, the infamous 1978 California initiative that slashed property taxes by 57 percent. Jarvis founded the “California Tax Reduction Movement” (later renamed HJTA) as a political organization to ensure continued “Prop 13’ reforms.

The mission of The International Convention on Human Rights (ICHR) is to educate people about the evolution of international human rights documents and to facilitate dialogue about how these rights can be effectively enforced.
